One example is California’s Reed Union School District, where educators, administrators, and parents collaborated to develop an AI vision statement and classroom framework. Instead of banning AI outright, the district introduced a “traffic light” system that defines when AI is prohibited, when it can provide assistance, and when students may actively collaborate with it, depending on grade level and assignment.
