An amendment has been made to a polyurethane membrane designed for simulating lung alveoli in laboratory settings. The initial version of this text had an error. Due to a mistake in assembling the figures, Figure 4 displayed a duplicate image for Day 4/TPU/100k cells instead of the correct image for Day 4/TPU/200k cells. The inaccurate Figure 4 and its description are shown below. The images depict H441 cells planted at various densities on PET and TPU membranes on day 0, comparing their growth from day 1 to day 4 in culture. DiI staining was applied to the cells before seeding them onto either surface. The original text has been rectified.
