Following my departure from CrowdStrike, I harnessed the power of artificial intelligence to submit 800 job applications within a month to secure my desired position. The news of being let go from CrowdStrike remains vivid in my memory. The unexpected notice came with a scheduled meeting for later that day, indicating a company-wide restructuring due to advancements in AI technology. This sudden and impersonal layoff, my first at the age of 30, left me disconcerted despite my strong professional background working with reputable companies like Amazon, Raytheon, Microsoft, and Johnson & Johnson.

The initial phase post-layoff saw me reluctantly applying to 52 jobs independently as I grappled with the challenging job market landscape. However, instead of passively navigating this period, I chose to be vocal about my experiences by creating content through YouTube videos and a podcast titled ‘The Reboot Era.’ The frustration of the job search process was further exacerbated by the lack of accessible resources and the inefficiencies of traditional application methods.
