The fast food establishment is introducing special menu items inspired by Huntr/x and the Saja Boys. Regrettably, the McDonald’s collaboration with *The Super Mario Galaxy Movie* will soon be overshadowed by a new partnership with *KPop Demon Hunters* launching on March 31. This collaboration is based on the storyline of two rival pop groups from the animated musical, Huntr/x and Saja Boys, and features two adult meal options inspired by each group.
In addition to the meals, customers can also receive photo cards and exclusive content. The meal options are variations of typical McDonald’s dishes, infused with flavors from McDonald’s South Korea locations. The Saja Boys offer a breakfast meal while the Huntr/x option is available throughout the day.
The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal includes a Spicy Saja McMuffin, Hash Browns, and a Small Soft Drink. On the other hand, the HUNTR/X Meal consists of 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium soft drink, Ramyeon McShaker Fries, Hunter Sauce, and Demon Sauce. Each meal comes with a photocard of either a Saja Boys or Huntr/x member, along with an access card featuring Derpy, the film’s demon cat mascot.
Apart from the meals, a “Derpy McFlurry” will be offered during the promotion period. While not categorized as children’s meals, these offerings may attract kids seeking to collect the photocard keepsakes. These items provide a tangible memento that lasts beyond just one meal.
The launch of these offerings coincides with *KPop Demon Hunters* approaching its one-year anniversary in June. Despite being somewhat delayed, plans for a sequel are underway, promising a more organized rollout in the future by Sony and Netflix.
