Two All-New iPhone 17 Colors Seemingly Confirmed

According to information from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is planning to introduce the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max in a fresh orange hue. Gurman shared the details in the most recent issue of his Power On newsletter, revealing that the upcoming iPhone 17 Air, set to replace the iPhone 16 Plus, will feature a new light blue color option. Speculation has been circulating about a potential orange shade for the iPhone 17 Pro, described previously as having a copper-like appearance. Various mock-up models have surfaced showcasing the color choices selected by Apple for their premium smartphones, which include black, white, and dark blue. The rumored lighter blue color variant for the iPhone 17 Air has also been making rounds. Initially brought up by Weibo source “Fixed Focus Digital,” it is suggested that this particular blue shade will play a key role in Apple’s marketing strategy for the new device. This lighter blue tone is said to be notably paler than any previous blue tones released by Apple and may even appear nearly white under dim lighting conditions. While Gurman hasn’t mentioned any additional colors for Apple’s upcoming iPhone range, his references to orange and light blue for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Air respectively indicate a high level of confidence in these rumors. Apple has favored understated colors for its recent titanium-made “Pro” iPhones, such as introducing the Desert Titanium option for the iPhone 16 Pro alongside Natural Titanium, White Titanium, and Black Titanium choices. It is anticipated that Apple will opt for a combination of glass and aluminum materials for the iPhone 17 Pro models, suggesting that new color variations are likely to be part of the lineup. The launch of the iPhone 17 series is just around the corner with rumors pointing towards an Apple event scheduled for Tuesday, September 9. If history repeats itself, pre-orders for the iPhone 17 could start on Friday, September 12 with devices expected to be available to customers and in retail stores by Friday, September 19.
